Savory and chewy. I've never had this varietal - tannat - before. It's enjoyable but might be moreso if paired with meat. On it's own it's just a bit too savory. Might be good for a prior meat-eating vegetarian who misses eating meat. Well, you can drink it!
Also abv is a biiiit high which is noticeable all around
