Opulent, convincing, lush blend of Greek Peloponnesian variety Agiorgitiko with international Syrah.
Deep dark garnet color with purple red rim.
Rich and intense nose of tobacco leaf, strawberry, blackthorn, blueberry, fallen leaves, wet earth.
Nearly full-bodied palate rich on fruits, rounded and quaffable, with juicy acidity and softened tannins. Bilberry, black cherry, black currant, prunes, dried blue figs, hinted by mushrooms.
Lengthy fruit-forward finish.
Played well with styfado + grilled aubergines
