This is a nice surprise. Not my usual style, but this is a nice red blend from North Coast.
Nice nose and very inviting.
Medium plus in body with nice structure and medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with round tannins.
Showing black fruits with wood, vanilla, earth, spices, leather, tobacco, coffee, chocolates and peppercorn.
Needs 30 minutes to open up properly, and show some tannins and structure.
A nice everyday red wine. Not showing a lot of that Bourbon Barrel feel, which I liked.
15.5% alcohol by volume.
89 points.

Mar 17th, 2020Sam’s club for the win again. Liked the original Sebastian Cab. But this was full and bold with fruit. No weird after taste and the bourbon was a light note that added to the whole experience without overpowering things. Will drink again.
