I had high hopes for this Paso Bordeux blend, but they haven't quite panned out. The nose brings fourth decaying wood with stewed blackberries and raspberries, but the alcohol also pushes through a bit too much. The palette is a bit thin and the alcohol still plays a big part. The nose is confirmed, but this one just seems to come up short of the target.
