I wish wines like these were more readily available in my favorite restaurants. Rich but not dominant, full but not heavy. This may very well be my Goldie Locks bottle of Bordeaux variety WA wine. Always, always, always let this wine catch some air for at least 30mins to an hour and you will be gently introduced to a balanced and creative expression.

Such an enticing and exciting nose. Very drinkable, but noticeably better after letting it air. Little more sour than I generally prefer, but I think a lot of people would enjoy this one

Feb 15th, 2017A nice wine that seems a bit shut down on the nose but exuberant on the palate. Nose has plum, aged cigar tobacco, and a light floral aspect. Fruit forward jamminess plus spice, damp earth, toast, and coffee lead to a pleasant, medium finish. Tannins are sweet and strong but well integrated.
