Montage Mt. Veeder Grenache Blend

Not as much Mourvèdre as their wonderful 2010 but still quite good.

Pretty tasty! Happy B-day dinner for T!

2010. Mostly Mourvèdre in this vintage. It is a beautiful wine and so delicious from the first pour. The nose is strawberry and the flavors mix in raspberry with a medium body and mild tannins. I pulled out some bottles to pair with Indian lamb dishes, but this was a perfect pairing with dark meat tandoori chicken!

Nice wine. Great berry flavor with hints of leather.

full body and easy to drink

finished a California Cabs & Blends tasting with a blend sans cab. my favorite! maybe bc the makers love the Southern Rhone
