Medium density dark crimson, where you can still see your fingers through fairly clearly. Medium power aromas of currant and beets. Dull entrance on the palate of dark plum. This wine is not as young as they say; drink yesterday or at least right now. Would go ok with tomato based sauces but it has a very "soft" structure, and not much fruit to talk about. However, it has a eye-catching peppery finish!! Red and yellow bell pepper, green peppercorn, red pepper, white pepper, perhaps a bit of volcanic soil minerality. Well deserved 84 pts.

Very easy to drink straight out of the bottle, with a more citrus flavour, hints of cherry.
