You get what you pay for. This Valpolicello Ripasso is priced well below many others, and the taste reflects that. Not terrible, but would recommend paying the extra dollar or two for a better bottle.

Nice nose, dried fruits, balanced, some astringency on what is a short finish. Yet, great with food- complementary with but not the star of the meal.
