A slightly sour note on the back of the tongue... But it isn't unpleasant. A smooth finish. Would be amazing with cured Italian meats and cheese plate.

Needs air, opens up to beautiful nose of chocolate raspberry and leather, nice tannin and mouth feel, bold not too bold

Nice full body, smooth

Good value. Ordered a South African bottle and this was brought by mistake, but it was good enough (and cheaper) to keep.

Really love this. Big Italian red. Having the normal cheese plate for an app and grilling steaks. The bottle won't make it to dinner
