Jan 30th, 2016For a giant monolithic brewery, this actually isn't terrible. Definitely the IBUs of a double but not much complexity. In a pinch, it will do if nothing else is available. The label, on the other hand, is the epitome of uncreative giant corporate dunderheads.

Here is another attempt to reach a strong market for sales, this brewery has gone on record saying they do not like the IPA style, Proof in their first attempt, IPA Rebel Rouser, west coast? Really? Which was lame, this is no different in their double IPA, it is not bad, but so far what a west coast IPA is, 5 years behind. Get the real deal, cheap imitation

With Sam Adams i usually expect good, not great. This however is a great hoppy ipa.
