A very nice lightly smokey Pinot Noir. Quite a surprise for my first Brazilian wine. At $30 this would be a typical nice Pinot, but at its $15 retail it's a steal. Nice cherry and fruit nose with good tannin and slight smokey, oak and a medium finish. Not your typical Pinot, probably very much a reflection of the Brazilian terroir, but I'll need to try more to decide! Perhaps several more :)
