Jul 16th, 2014First try of a tannat grape. Very nice! Initially had dark fruit, leather and slight cedar note but turned to a mango after 30 minutes! Mango note stayed nicely blended with the tannins and cassis in a very interesting blend of flavors. Overall a very nice and interesting wine that seemed pretty flexible for foods.
