Chalk, dust flavored raspberry mixed with slight green pepper that has a medium long finish. Deep red/purple color that reminds of Syrah but a palate that makes you suddenly think sweet and deeply complex all at once (even though it is definitely not sweet). After having this at different stages in the bottle, have to say a little longer time in the cellar seems to increase complexity and overall length of finish. Excellent wine!!
