Stark contrast from their Kith & Kin and Rutherford cab. The first two are all about the dark characteristics...dark fruit, dark ground/earthy hints, and dark coffee like spice. This on the other hand strives for elegance. Brighter fruits...Bing cherries, maybe even rhubarb. The spice is more floral than coffee/espresso. Very smooth.

Three things - Saturday night drinking by myself as tennis rules wife's life thus time of year so being an alcoholic. Next is loving the Ryder Cup so far and finally a little smile as feeling lonely except for the delectable gang and NY is two weeks away right @Ron R so some smiling going on

Another crowd pleaser! Despite being so young I believe it's drinking well right now. Deep purple in the glass showing signs of it being highly concentrated and extracted. Soft supple tannins, green pepper, muddled black and red berries and plum. Ends with a little spice, oak and vanilla.

Definitely an improvement over the regular offering. This is the reserve from Rutherford. Nice wine, but there was something coming off that nose that was a bit off-putting to me. Maybe sage...? But after almost an hour the wine gave way and the richness became apparent. Flavors of fleshy plum and berries leading to hints of caramel at the end. Interesting wine. Not sure I would purchase again but glad I tried it out.

That's Lucy in the background. Anyway nice nose of light floral and scents of licorice.
Drinks smooth with light spice and rich fruits.
I know young but this I believe ready now. Enjoy. By the way go to the winery for their farm to table lunch (fantastic).
