Rosenblum Cellars
Paso Robles Zinfandel
Dark ruby red in color.
Spicy and fruity on the nose, with blackberries, figs, white pepper and light roll of tobacco.
Medium bodied with decent legs. 14.5% alcohol by volume. A little light for a zinfandale and the high alcohol.
Smooth on the palate with red berries, rhubarb, cherries, boysberies and black pepper .
Medium finish with delicate tannins and lots of black pepper .
Nice gentle everyday wine.
Paired it with a grilled chicken dish.

Tasty Zin and a good value; better on second and third days. BevMo

Mar 4th, 2016A little sweeter/fruitier up front than other Zins I've had lately, with a traditional spicy finish. I like it. Very smooth overall. Yum.

Apr 8th, 2015I detected grapefruit notes in this mature wine. Very symbolic of a great Zin.

Jan 11th, 2015Nose is slightly floral with a hint of pepper. Taste has a small raspberry and cherry start. The wine is a bit tannic leaving almost a dusty dry feeling. The finish (after breathing for a bit) has an average pepper flavoring that lingers for a little. Overall the wine is a bit flat lacking in quality flavors. Unfortunately the fruit flavors and pepper is too small to enjoy the wine.
