Dark ruby red in color.
Spicy and fruity on the nose, with blackberries, figs, white pepper and light roll of tobacco.
Medium bodied with decent legs. 14.5% alcohol by volume. A little light for a zinfandale and the high alcohol.
Smooth on the palate with red berries, rhubarb, cherries, boysberies and black pepper .
Medium finish with delicate tannins and lots of black pepper .
Nice gentle everyday wine.
Paired it with a grilled chicken dish.

Huge fruit still! Really surprising how well the Rosenblum wines are holding up 15+yrs out. This had a great, rich finish.

Solid Zinfandel with the Rosenblum tell tale dark color and expressive fruit . Sorry to hear of the passing of Kent Rosenblum. His legacy is the wine style he produced.

Smooth and smoky. Great value for $15 wine. Top Zinfandel in our book.

Not particularly memorable but a great Zin value buy. Flavor not as ruby dark and robust as color.

Pretty tasty for $15.50, good fruit, not jammy, rather refined, 2012 vintage

Black cherry, figs, white pepper and cream on the nose. The palate is a bit dry with rhubarb, raspberry, and spice. Medium body with present tannins.
