The cork broke down and we had to push it through. Very unpleasant experience and a pity considering the actual level in the bottle.
Licorice, spices, garrigue, blackberry on the nose. A very intense nose with a story to tell. The palate is intense with a strong acid backbone, blackberry all along, some salty, meaty thing going on, a very soft texture, a tender touch with a sort of roundness to it, gentle tannins and a very dense finish with blackberry and some salty meat juice. Actually better than the cnp we had just before.
Why would you put such low-end corks on such a beauty??
