Very deep garnet-ruby color in the glass with thin ruby edges. Nice vegetation on the nose with mushrooms and allspice. The cherry aromas come out to play after some air. Medium bodied with some silkiness. In the past, this wine carried a California appellation but I believe this '14 is the first time it's listed under Sonoma Coast and it shows. Fresh raspberries, cinnamon, half-smoked clove cigarettes, and light touches of smoke. More well balanced than expected, this is a pretty good value for Sonoma PN.
