A vibrant and very clear ruby wine with an earthy nose that combines delightful funk, candied apples, and plums in an unmistakable Pinot nose. Soft and sweet on the palate at first lulls you into thinking there's nothing to it, when all of a sudden a wave of acidity comes roaring in to save the day. Though I am a Willamette slut, this Sonoma Coast wine is talking to me.

A preflight drink at SFO en route home. Tastes slightly better than cat piss.
