Nice, but not quite as nice as I was expecting. Inky color and a bit too tannic. Very peppery with a bit of blackberry and plum. Perhaps it just needed to breathe a bit longer.

I've had the 04 vintage before and it was great, I'm having a hard time with this one. I'll give it 2 more hours to see where it ends up.
Parker said this was a 40-50 year wine, so maybe I'm a couple decades too early 🤷♂️
