Very subtle red raspberry and cherry on the nose. Moderate to low aromas. Dry, full-bodied, fresh acidity, high and dry tannins with notes of spices and a hint of gamey/meaty notes. Did this wine blind and was able to narrow it down to France but when asked if it was from Burgundy, Bordeaux or the Rhone I guessed Bordeaux and was wrong. This wine was hard because it didn't show a whole lot but maybe that was the clue. Still developing my palate and gaining knowledge on regions.
