Lovely, complex, layered. Combo of crunchy berries and macerated plum, black pepper, meat, savory and sage. Some brett but to me this was nuanced, adding a layer to wine that I enjoyed. Came across as an umami side with a kiss of something synthetic but I’m digging it.

Lovely and consistent. Massive French influence with earth and barnyard smells. Medium depth and a rustic flavor. Dark fruit. Medium finish. Excellent QPR. Definitely my style.

1hr+ decant. Dark purple color. Barnyard nose with earth and chocolate. Wine is Bordeaux style with dark berries. Medium plus depth and medium finish. Terrific wine!

Seductively dark ruby in the glass. Terrific nose featuring foresty earth, spices, toasted wood, and floral undertones. All of that mingles with delicious dark fruits. I could honestly go on and on about the nose on this, it's magnificent. This is so obviously mountain fruit. On the palate, plums, dark cherries, and smoke assault you. There's a rustic, woodsy influence here with just the right amount of vegetal traits and mountain minerality. Such great balance and acidity with a nice, long finish. This can keep for several more years but you're a stronger man than I am if you can wait.
