Better after open for 10 minutes. Bright, pungent CA zinfandel. Cranberries, raspberries, candy on nose. Medium weight and satisfying on palate. Alcoholic at 15%; would be better at a bit less.

Black cherry/plum. Light chocolate and strong but well balanced tannins. Lower complexity.

The nose and palate run a bit hot and sweet with cloves, sugar dusted dates, blackberry and baking spices. Subtle but present tannins, medium body and a velvety mouthfeel. The finish is medium length and smooth with a vanilla bean and oak backbone. Not complex, but easy drinking and enjoyable.
