Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore Corvina Blend

Blend of Corvina, Rondinella, and a few other grapes, Ripasso technique, a month of drying, Dark Ruby with aromas of black and red fruits with very sweet spice. On the palate flavors of sweet cherry, blackberry and dried currant flavors, with cacao notes, overly sweet. Soft smooth tannins on a short finish ending with sweet character. Pass, too sweet!

Letting it breathe for an hour is key - full bodied, jammy

Too acidic. Not very good. Maybe OK with very flavorful meat.

Rich and full and fruity

Delicious, but slightly a bit acidic. Full and fruity at the end of the day.
