Nov 18th, 2017I'm fairly unfamiliar with cognacs or brandies so I'll avoid making ant definitive judgments, but overall this was a good choice. Pleasent, rich golden color and a breathtaking aroma. Smooth with a tolerable bite and burn, notes of oak and vanilla. Hopefully I'll explore cognacs more and come back to this classic.

Jun 24th, 2017This was snuck into a blind rum tasting... surprising how many similarities it has to rums. Smell: Fruity, bright, some nutmeg. Taste: Earthy, baking spice, black pepper, super dry. I didn't realize I liked this as much. Courvoisier still sucks.
