First blush was not pretty - way too jammy. It opened up well over 48 hours though and ended up being a nice final 3 glasses!

Big, bold and hearty. A good winter wine. That said I'm in Tahoe and still need it to get 20 degrees colder.

Too fruity. Almost tasted as if fruit juice and rubbing alcohol were mixed together. Letting it breath did not help.

Blackberry, caramel slight hint of tobacco on the nose. All dark fruit, cherry, cassis , very jammy with a nice slightly peppery finish that lingers on the palate.
