North Coast Petite Sirah

A smooth, mid-body Merlot, had it with Duck Pizza at Nino's on 46th St - a solid choice.

Surprisingly light bodied, berry, and smooth finish. Nice value, to boot

Berry, heavy oak, soft, smooth

Very concentrated color. A lot of oak on the nose, and maybe blueberry. Medium to high tannins. Bold. Pepper. Not a lot of fruit on this one.

Wanted to give these a little time in the bottle to see how they evolved. Still a great bottle of wine but it’s probably time to drink them.

If you’re interested in a great wine either to enjoy on its own or with a pairing, un-cork this wine. Great for conversations with friends and excellent when paired with pizza, Italian sausage, cheese or roasted chicken.

Still big and brawny despite a few years a bottle age. Lots of fruit very little tannin

I remember now why I first liked Petit Sirah.

I don’t often drink Petite Syrah, but this was a nice one. Peppery blueberry aromas. High tannin and dark berry flavors. Heavy body and long finish. Paired well with bbq pulled pork.
