One of the better years I have had of this wine. It is the second wine if Quinta Do Vale Meão, which contributed a lot of its grapes to Barca Velha in its history. 13 years later, it still has vibrant fruit, but is also developing secondary qualities as well. Can equally be enjoyed with a steak as with a meat pizza, as I did.

Dec 29th, 2020Good example of a Portuguese table wine with a little bit of age. Second wine of Quinta do Vale Meão. Still has strong dark fruits and soft but present tannins. Threw a fine sediment.
