This is a big wine and highly recommend decanting for maximum enjoyment. This would pair nicely with barbecued meats such as ribs or beef. Black currant, smoke, and pepper. Opened up so beautifully that I had to edit my rating from 8.9 to 9.1. Got some ripe blueberry pie with full aeration. Solid structure and smooth tannins with a lingering finish.
