Douro Red Blend

From my favorite Douro producer João Roseira, always a fantastic value. Purity of fruit, firm tannins and bright acid. All stainless from slate soils.

Good character, red and black fruit notes. Spice on the finish.

Fresh red and black fruit, silky tannin and bright acidity. Very nice on a warm fall afternoon on the patio with a cigar.

Quinta do Infantado '10 a champion from #Douro when you want quality and price. Biologic production and fermented in a Lagar, call it terroir.

Rich aromas... leather and old books, and some underlying fruit. Smooth and a bit lighter on the palate than expected, tart red cherries and cranberries, a bit of spiciness, minimal tannins but a long finish.

With Bacalhau a Gomes de Sá (Salt Cod Fish). 2015 vintage

Enjoyed in Lisbon. Fun.

Delicious and awesome value at $13! Baked blueberry pie, plum, cloves, and cinnamon. Tannins still showing some so no rush to drink or a decant is recommended. Very good!
