Nice little wine. Full in the mouth and an interesting varietal. Also known as Durif, a combination of Peloursin and Syrah vines. Blackcurrant and plummy. $24 Carlton Liquor.

Ripe cherries and plenty with spices on the nose. Slightly mocca tones, prunes and raisins. On the palate, again cherries, black berries and espresso. More prunes and instant coffee on the finish with hints of bitter dark chocalate. Full of flavors in this one. Very nice!
