Colline Savonesi Frizzante Lumassina

Wonderful small producer find here. Lumassina is an extremely uncommon varietal with only three producers growing it, all within Colline Savonesi. High terraced vineyards produce pale straw yellow colors with a slight fizzante present brimming around the top. Has a vinegar-like smell that blows off revealing some nice citrus notes. Flavors are hard to pin down… maybe some tangerine and peach? Quite subtle. Lots of mineral feels and good structure.
