Slovenian skin-contact Pinot Gris! Well actually, I'm not sure whether i'd call this a skin contact white or a rosé, because it comes across actually not unlike a Provençal rosé, albeit a bit funkier and more savory than most; it's interesting for sure. Underripe raspberry and peach, loads of wet stone minerality, savory garrigue and lavender, and a funky salinity that I can't quite place but I really dig. Bone-dryness and plenty of acidity keeps it lively and refreshing and keeps you going in for more. Nice texture as well, slightly more body and silkyness than I'd expect for something this dry and refreshing. And relatively cheap, too. Good stuff!
