Mt. Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon

Finally getting around to posting Day 5 in Napa, our final day. 5 years in a row visiting...hope to make it 6 next year!

Great wine to enjoy as our final one of the trip. Big, mountain structure. Intoxicating nose of cherry cordial, mixed berry pie & dark chocolate. Powerful on the palate with tobacco & grilled dark fruits. Silk like with a big finish. I’ve been fortunate to have a few vintages of this and it is always a winner.

Intense dark fruit with an intense mid-palate with bramble fruit and elegant spice fruit.

Napa Cab is not often what I reach for but this is wonderfully crafted by my friend Sean Capiaux and paired great with my ribeye!
