Ok I’m prejudice for Pride wines and Claret! I drank the new 2019! I’m 75 so not aging long! Surprisingly fruit forward. Took over an Hour to open up. Simply delicious with layers of fruit, earth , vanilla and sweet tannins.

90/10 Sonoma/Napa. 70/30 Merlot/Cab. Nice complexity- tart black fruit, camphor, cassis, varnish, coffee, and camphor. Long bitter finish. First Pride Reserve wine- different and interesting.

I love this Claret...I love just saying “Claret”. Rich, profuse, dark red cherry and plum, tobacco, wet stone. Super long finish (15.2%).
