Post Scriptum de Chryseia Douro
A wine intended to be drunk young, but enjoyed with almost 13 years of age. Still has pleasant fruit on the nose. The palate is of soft tannins, which is to be expected of a younger-drinking Douro. Flavors of dark fruits, some tar. Not jammy.

Apr 14th, 2017It has been a while since I've had one of these. Used to be a fruit bomb. Developed into a bit of leather with fruit, but not overpowering. Has mellowed very well into what is probably considered old age for this wine. A little oaky, but solid. Benefits from age; I only hope that with later vintages, people give them some time.
