Dense red in color. Mint, anise, white pepper and herb notes in nose. Raspberry candy, cocoa and wintergreen flavors, later cherry and cranberry. Seed bitterness in finish, followed by skin astringency on front of tongue. Nice flavor complexity and varietal expression at a great price.

Just opened tonight. Not sure tomorrow's taste will drastically improve. For the price, a nice red.
