A semi-gem. $3.99 a bottle at the local liquor store that frequently has cases of wine from small regions for under $5 a bottle. This one from Moldova is worth buying again. After opening, it's a smooth wine with just ripe cherry and some plum. Fruit forward with little finish, but again $3.99. I'm thinking it would be a great for a beef bourguignon recipe.
