Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore Corvina Blend

Not a hit at a family gathering. Very barnyard. That blew off after being open, but still not great.

I really enjoyed this wine. Very smooth with a great finish. I need to get another bottle.

Vibrant on the nose - blackberry and earth with hints of liquorish and maraschino cherries. On the pallet - quickly jumps into bed with you. Dark fruit with leather and oak.

Beautiful, over delivers for the intro wine club price of $6! Tight dry fruit of plum skins, figs, prunes. Nice mellow to dry long finish. Perfecto for summer outdoor dining! On its own or paired with my mesclun salad & grilled sausage.

Valpolicella Ripasso. Full flavor. Says wine passed over dry amarone grapes, then stored in oak barrels.

One of my favorite ripassos. Earthy, floral, black fruit. I understand some may disagree w the flavor, and to each their own, but this is well made wine and i love the taste. My cellar is full but i will get a case of this..

First glass - decent as a table wine. Subsequent glasses (as wine was aerated) were much more tasty. Full fruit, but light with easy tannins and pleasant finish.

Would rather pair my next meal with rice vinegar than this guy

Blackberries. Licorice. Cherries. Corvina grapes! Yummy!

Delicious with lamb chops!
