Nice wine but probably a couple years past its prime to some degree. Still in a good place. Quite inky dark. Nice dark fruit, hint of bitterness, good acid.

Wonderful wine ($70) but may be a bit past its prime. Excellent choice with filet mignon steaks

I’ve got a bucket of these and they are proving a joy to watch as they age.

Very nice Tuscan red. A bit of oak up front, but at the right temperature and after a solid decant this was well balanced with earthy rustic fruit, integrated but persistent tannins, and excellent acid.

Deep black fruits and strong oak with some leathery notes. Lots of acidity on the finish. Too young though - tannins need time to settle

Blackberry jam. Leather, spice, herbs, tobacco. Violets. Intriguing oxidized quality. Supple, lingering acidity and long finish. Very groovy. Thank you @Gene Bodemer !
