My first coth du Rhone.
Cherry red 👁️
Tobbaco, wood and violets 👃
Tart attack first. Very chewy with vanilla, tobacco and hints of pepper and some very ripe cherry on the background. Not really fruity, which is a big change for me.
Medium acidity which is what makes it workable.
Medium with gentle and pleasent tannins 🎯
🍣 and Roma style 🍕aren't recommended pairings.
Nothing to write home about.
It was cheap (around 75 nis) so you rip what you sow.
Need to try a north Rhone syrah to really get to know the Rhone.
