P.J. Valckenberg
Pinot Blanc
Interesting wine, aromas of stone fruits and smoky notes. On the palate apple and citrus flavors, medium finish ending with almost a nutty character. Worth a try. Tasting Sample.

Nice nose of white flowers, lemons, citrus, green apples, light grass and white pepper.
Medium bodied and creamy, with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with limes, grapefruits, citrus, sea salt, green apples, bitter herbs and spices.
Short finish with bitter almonds and limes.
A nice white wine from Rheinhessen, Germany. Tart on the attack and better when chilled properly. Enjoyable by itself or with food. Simple, shows bright acidity, but not fully balanced.
11.5% alcohol by volume.

Unusual, slight honeyed notes for a Pinot Blanc. Intense minerality.
