I couldn't wrap my head around this. The nose is confusing, giving off hints of both very dry acidity and an almost botrytis sweetness. On the palette it is more bitter than anything.

Very puzzling experience. This ancient dry red varietal attributed to choice of Georgian kings and reportedly limited only to 2 producers required 24 hours of decanting to smooth down its edgy spirit. Over the hill despite very young age? Suspect inappropriate storage at wine store.
