Relatively young red, but better if allowed to breath for 4 hours or so. Lightens a somewhat tannin heavy petit Verdot grape. Not quite as velvet as a Malbec but by letting it breath it moves in that direction. Opens up room for better flavors and textures that straight from the bottle doesn’t provide.
