Ripasso della Valpolicella Superiore Corvina Blend

Another Trader Joe's wine. A little darker fruit than I prefer, but a nice wine and a decent Valpolicella Ripasso. Win.

LOVE FRUITY

Can't beat the value. Distinct taste of dried prune, Cherries, and a dry, non-sweet raisins. Great expression of the vapiosso techniques. Would get it again

Pretty good, $10 at Trader Joes, served it with roast butternut squash soup.

Oak on the nose. Almost expecting to be sweet but actually tangy and smooth. Lots of tanin and black cherry.

If you're Ailton, this will bring back memories. Excellent flavor and full body.

This is such a "go to" wine for me made all-the-better being in the US for the cheapie cheapie pricing (less than half the price than the retail in Canada). I love it. This is never disappointing and always fits the occaision. Great!
