Top Notes For
Raspberries, smoke and syrupy liquorice on the nose and more herbaceous and acidic on the palate, making this a killer food wine. Think pasta and avoid chocolate.

Aug 10th, 2015Good new vintAge. I don't love it as much as the last vintage.

Sep 27th, 2015Nice but a bit heavier on the palate than I expected. Great mineral tones (soil, asphalt), young tannins, high acidity. Decant for an hour or give it 5 more years in the bottle (I had 2012 vintage) and it will be 9.0.

Jul 8th, 2015Decent wine...not big enough for steak. But good Italian red.

May 24th, 2015Greay balance of fruit and earth. Wonderful nose: similar to the amarone just tried by the same producer. I am very impressed.
