Soppressata to start but turned into an amazing bouquet of dark fruit. Drinking very well.

2009 continues to set the bar for my favorite vintage for wines of Sonoma County. This is no exception. This Syrah orchestrated that ideal balance between cool blue fruit and savory spice & structure. A well-made wine from a familiar grower to my own Sonoma experience. This wine got right to it out of the gate but continued to evolve with wild herb aromas and greater finesse with some air and time in glass. A solid effort. Wishing I had more.
