83/100pts, 3.4ā. Selected Agiorgitiko 2014 from single vineyard in Nemea. 18 month oak + 6 in bottle.

Garnet rubyish.
Impressions of dusted old barnyard with melt wild black berries on warm nose.
Full body, sour tannins, med acidity.
Black cherry, bitter liquorice, mint, dust, black pepper on easy palate turned sour green in hot spicy aftertaste of med+ finish. Tannic green.

šŸ’¬ Quality in the making can't save this Nemea from the doom and gloom of 2014 vintage. Not bad but better get another year!

Second wine of our Greece exploration. Nemea region, Agiorgitiko grape. Loaded with fruit, very tannic, low in acidity. Defenitly a great wine but less my palate (while my wife scored this one higher than the Naoussa). Nevertheless, up 'till now Greece is still rock 'n roll!
