Valle d'Aosta Petite Arvine

Minerals, fennel, white pepper, and grapefruit aromas. On the palate, tart pineapple, medium acidity, fennel, and wet stones.

Minerals, butter, lemon aromas.

Salted pineapple, zippy acidity, honeycomb, warm sugar. Dry but rich fruit.

Citrus, golden apple, almond, wet rocks. Medium-bodied with fairly high acid.

Bright lemony, floral and peppery with a hint of mango on the nose. Rounder than I remember the previous vintage to be but nicely balanced by the acidity and salinity. Held its own with sockeye salmon with jerk seasoning and charred broccoli!

Hit the spot. Not super complicated. I thought it was dry and crisp with a bit of body. I heard sweet.

Pale to straw, light to med body, no detectable oak, green apple, some citrus, white flowers, generous acidity, long finish, great apertif or with seafood...

Honey and wildflowers and minerality. I love alpine wines so much.

#YearOfTexture mouthfeel and orchard fruits. Kinda loving this. 2011

2009. Nose is floral, with an almost-salty minerality. Palate mirrors the nose & then shifts toward citrus. Really good!

Good wine but at 14% there goes the day...
