Pulled another domestic Chenin... glad I did. Lovely concentrated, complex Old Vine Chenin from WA Columbia Valley. Med weight, nice round full texture. Really nice fruit/acid balance...lime, lemon, blood orange hints with green grass and savory herbal notes. Great accompaniment to Halibut, Bass, and herbed, pickled beets with rice pilaf. Chenin Blanc is fast becoming one of my favorite food wines. So much more interesting than Sauvignon Blanc.
